Backwater fishing is what Southwest Florida is known for, with Everglades National Park, The 10,000 Islands, and Rookery Bay Preserve right on our doorsteps, you’re only a short boat ride away from some of Florida’s most tranquil and productive fishing grounds. No matter what the weather is there is always a calm place to fish.

call 239-289-7228

Our typical backwater fishing trip consists of leaving the dock in our 22ft center console bay boat and traveling into the tranquil backwaters around Marco Island and the Ten Thousand Islands. We like to fish the mangrove shorelines with live bait and light tackle spinning rods or fly rods whichever you choose. This fishing is for all experience levels, even if you have never fished in your life our patient guide will be more than happy to teach you.

Tarpon are most active in this area April-July so if you want to specifically target Tarpon please try to book early as possible as slots are limited for this type of fishing. Shark and Tarpon are considered sport fishing and are catch and release only, although we do like to take pictures. We run our Shark and Tarpon trips on our 22ft Blackjack for up to 4 people. See our rates below for each boat.
